Such reforms have included the adaptation of a common core curriculum and the removal of ethnically biased materials and textbooks.

Also known as the untouchables, the Dalit experience constant discrimination because of their extremely low status in the illegal caste system of Hindu society. Dalit children are being forced to leave school at a young age and can only wait for the movement for educational equality to advance.

The Roma, more commonly known as gypsies, have faced ethnic discrimination for centuries. This discrimination has spanned to areas of employment, health care, and education. Meanwhile, negative stereotypes and generalizations have been accepted by many Europeans in the world today.
